Our story
Between Addis and the long stretch of ordinary days, we kept choosing each other, coffee, phone calls, the quiet work of becoming a family.
This December we celebrate at Hyatt Regency in the heart of the city Hermela calls home.

The ceremony and dinner are for adults, so we can keep the night unhurried. Infants in arms are welcome. If you need help with childcare nearby, write to us.
If your invitation names a guest, they are truly invited. If you are unsure, RSVP with a note and we will sort it quickly.
Formal. Linen, silk, a good jacket — cream, sage, ink, and soft earth tones. The hotel is indoors, so a comfortable heel is fine.
The hotel has free self-parking on site. Taxis and ride-hailing are easy from Meskel Square. Bole International Airport is about 15 minutes by car.
The ceremony and dinner are indoors. If the sky is clear, canapés move onto the Meskel Terrace; if not, we stay in the ballroom foyer.
